Envera Info and Tips
To better serve your community, Riviera Bella, we want to provide you with additional information regarding Envera’s systems at your community.
Two entrances at your community employ Envera’s Virtual Gate Guard with driver’s license technology. Drivers entering through the visitor lane must stop at the Kiosk and provide an ID for verification and processing. During a guest’s first visit, the driver will speak with an Envera guard. If the guest is listed on a resident’s MyEnvera list as permanent or temporary (within allowed times), the visitor’s ID will be linked to their visitor profile that is associated with that resident. The guest will be automatically verified during future visits, as long as the visitor remains on the resident’s permanent guest list or is within the allowed times scheduled for a temporary visitor.
Since automatic verification can only occur if the system matches an ID with a visitor who is currently on a resident’s approved list, visitors and vendors who are not automatically verified will speak with an Envera guard. The guard will attempt to contact you for unregistered visitors and/vendors. It is helpful to save our number, (877) 936-8372, as a contact in your phone to easily know when Envera is trying to get in touch with you. You can read more frequently asked questions in this flyer.
Don’t forget to use MyEnvera.com or download the MyEnvera Apple/Android app to manage your guest list and expedite entry for permitted visitors. Here are additional tips:
- If a visitor is a multi-resident service provider (such as an electrician or housekeeper) and is on more than one home’s visitor list as permanent or temporary (within allowed times), the driver’s license of a technician/representative may be paired with the first home address that they provide on their first visit. This will continue for that driver as long as that initial home has the vendor/driver on their list as permanent or temporary (within allowed times).
- To avoid having a multi-resident service provider being logged to your home on the days they are visiting a neighbor, you can enter the vendor as temporary with date/time restrictions.
- For example: If your housekeeper usually comes on Mondays, you can allow entry on Mondays for the next two years. When the driver/company visits on any other day of the week, a guard will speak with the driver and verify their entry to the correct household.
- Envera does not recommend adding food delivery companies or Uber/Lyft to your permanent guest list, as this will allow entry at any time for your household and may cause notifications to the incorrect resident whom they visited first (if it’s the same driver). Because visitors can be added in real-time from the MyEnvera app and web portal, we recommend adding them as temporary or one-time on the day of their visit.
- When you remove a visitor from your list or their temporary status expires, their ID information is also removed. The visitor will be manually processed by a guard during their next visit.
- You can enable resident notifications in MyEnvera to be notified about visitor and account activity.
